Peace, conflict resolution and mediation work in Africa

Prof. Brian Williams worked in Africa (Burundi, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) Uganda, Tanzania, Liberia, Botswana, Lesotho, Swaziland and South Sudan), to train peace educators in conflict resolution and to train mediators. In Uganda, Prof. Williams assisted the Uganda Human Rights Commission to create a conflict early warning system for that country. Each of the engagements in these countries requires extensive political and contextual understanding of the realities in these countries.
